The market research institute estimates that the global Semiconductor industry is expected to maintain an upward growth pattern in 2015, with the total output value increasing by 7.6% compared with 2014, due to the continuous expansion of the sales volume of telecommunications products in emerging markets such as Chinese Mainland, and the rapid rise in the demand for various sensors and low-power, small size chips for Internet of Things applications.


In 2014, thanks to the growth of demand for smart phones, the stabilization of personal computers (PCs) and Laptop (NB), and the increase in penetration of 4G, the output value of global integrated circuit (IC) semiconductors will grow by 7.6%. Meanwhile, in the IC design market, although high standards and low prices bring significant price pressure, the overall market is still expected to grow by 5.3%.
