The slow growth of the global semiconductor market in 2023 is mainly due to the 3.9% growth in the Asia Pacific region offsetting the 10.3% decline in Japan and 8.2% decline in Europe.


The demand for semiconductors is mainly affected by the slowdown in PC shipments, the appreciation of the US dollar, the contraction of the Japanese economy, the European crisis, and the impact of the Chinese stock market. Among them, Chinese semiconductor sales account for over 50% of global semiconductor consumption.
